The Fairfield City Camera Club is a community group for those
interested in photography. The membership ranges from expert
photographers to absolute beginners. We like to share our knowledge
and enjoy learning new tips from each other on our fortnightly
meetings.
Meetings are held twice a month on the first and third Wednesday at
7:30 p.m. in Panthers St Johns Park. Topics discussed on these
meetings include wildlife, portrait, landscaping, sports, black and
white photography, etc. We also held discussions about photography
techniques, and software tutorials; and once a month we gather just
to show each other pictures taken based on open and set subjects
(please refer to our calendar of events for dates and subject
definitions).
There is no charge to participate in our meetings and exhibitions.
You will, however, need to join before entering the club's contests.
For further details please contact call Ros (02) 9825 2418 or Ron
0411 407 880, or you can ask any of our members at one of the
regular meetings.
We are a member of the Member of the Federation of Camera Clubs NSW, which encourages activity among the various regional clubs and organizes contests.
